Christ Presbyterian Academy is a pre-K to grade 12 independent school with 1,290 students in Nashville, Tennessee. It was founded in 1985 as a mission of Christ Presbyterian Church. The Winkler Group helped CPA lead a campaign that raised over $14.5 million, transforming CPA’s campus by building a new Center for the Arts, front entrance, campus Quad, and parking for students and their families. The campus enhancements will build spaces that facilitate the transformation of young men and women through an excellent Christian education for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

One80 Place

One80 Place’s mission is to end and prevent homelessness. Recognizing that a lack of affordable housing is the primary reason for homelessness, One80 Place launched a capital campaign to build affordable housing on vacant land next to its shelter. The campaign quickly reached 150% of its goal through targeted cultivation and messaging. The result will be 70 units of permanent affordable housing for the formerly homeless. During the campaign, annual giving to the shelter remained steady—providing critical day-to-day operations income.

The case for support the Winkler Group developed in partnership with SUNY Adirondack won a CASE Circle of Excellence award and set the stage for a successful campaign.  SUNY Adirondack’s campaign messaging centered on link between the college and the economic vitality of its region.  The campaign secured funds for STEM learning, student success, and support for local workforce development.

Currey Ingram

Currey Ingram’s It’s Possible campaign raised more than $16 million, exceeding its $15 million goal. Currey Ingram Academy was founded 50 years ago to provide an environment and curriculum for students with learning differences so they could reach their potential. The successful campaign will build a new boarding facility, create an endowment for faculty, and provide financial aid so more children have the opportunity for a Currey Ingram Academy education, regardless of where they live or their socioeconomic level.

American Battlefield Trust

The American Battlefield Trust has preserved 51,000 acres of America’s most hallowed battlegrounds at places like Gettysburg, Lexington and Concord, and Yorktown. The Trust embarked on the Liberty Trail, a project that connects 16 key Revolutionary War battlefields across South Carolina. The Winkler Group partnered with the Trust to raise $15 million to preserve the battlefields, educate the public, and inspire new generations with the stories behind the fight for America’s independence in South Carolina.


Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts

In 2014, the $600 million Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts opened in downtown Orlando, Florida, with the Walt Disney Theater as its main performance venue. The Performing Arts Center has been named one of Travel + Leisure magazine’s “25 New Tourist Attractions Worth Adding to Your Bucket List” and one of Southern Living magazine’s “50 Best Places in the South Now.”
The Winkler Group partnered with Dr. Phillips to complete Steinmetz Hall and develop the planned giving society that will provide for excellence in the performing arts for years to come.


Upstate Forever

Upstate Forever’s Crossroads Campaign will protect high-priority land, safeguard the area’s water, and engage more voices for conservation. This campaign exceeded its $7.5 million goal, raising $8.4 million by combining leadership gifts with planned giving. This forward-thinking organization is poised to preserve the very best of the Upstate.


Ronald McDonald House Charities

The Ronald McDonald House opened its doors 35 years ago as a “home-away-from-home” for families while their children undergo extensive medical treatment. Today, the Winkler Group is partnering with the House on a $7.5 million capital campaign. The Building Hope a Bigger Home campaign will expand the RMHC from 32 to 53 bedrooms. Every aspect of the house will be designed to promote healing for the whole family.

Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center

Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center is a leading resource for abused children and their families. They partnered with the Winkler Group to launch the Above and Beyond campaign. As a result of the campaign’s planning study, the organization realized a willingness from donors to invest in opening a second child advocacy center on the opposite side of town to meet the needs of unserved children. The organization exceeded its capital campaign goal, which enabled them to open a second center and renovate the original facility. As a result of the campaign, Dee Norton doubled its capacity.

Peterson Health

Peterson Health is an independent hospital in the Texas Hill Country. They partnered with the Winkler Group to raise $11.5 million to renovate their existing Ambulatory Care Center and launch a separate $18 million endowment initiative. The Winkler Group was able to leverage local residents’ appreciation for high-quality local care into a successful campaign.


OneWorld Health

OneWorld Health brings permanent, sustainable healthcare to developing countries by building medical centers that are ultimately operated by local residents. When the Winkler Group first partnered with OneWorld Health, the organization had a single medical center in Uganda. Since then, thanks in part to a Winkler Group-led campaign, they have built 11 new medical centers in Uganda and Nicaragua.


SUNY SCCC

Since 1969, SUNY Schenectady has served its community by delivering promising futures for its students. SUNY Schenectady partnered with the Winkler Group to invest in its students through the Promise of Our Common Future campaign. The campaign exceeded its goal by 40% to address two critical priorities: enhance the scholarship fund and build a modern learning commons to provide centralized academic support services.

Trinity School established a second milestone goal to continue the momentum of their initial success. Brook Hill School is a pre-kindergarten to grade 12 independent school with 665 students in Tyler, Texas. It was founded in 1997 out of a commitment to training students to be confident in both their faith and their education. One of the Winkler Group’s first clients, Brook Hill School placed their trust in the WG firm to help lead a successful $8 million campaign, enabling the school to build a state-of-the-art humanities building and gymnatorium.


Trident Technical College

By providing South Carolina’s Lowcountry with unmatched affordable, high-quality educational opportunities for the past 50 years, Trident Technical College creates an educated community that results in a higher tax base, lower rates of poverty and crime, and greater economic development. The Winkler Group partnered with TTC for a planning study and subsequent capital campaign; Trident Tech soaring past their original goal to establish an endowment, increase scholarships, and provide much-needed technological updates for all campuses. The campaign also secured new planned gifts by highlighting the legacy potential.
