Director of Business Development

The Winkler Group, a fast-growing and well-respected national fundraising consulting firm headquartered in Charleston, SC, is looking for a director of business development.

We are not looking for a typical salesperson. We want someone with a heart for service and an eagerness to connect as many nonprofits as possible to our transformative fundraising counsel.

The ideal candidate will serve as the firm’s primary sales figure. They will bring a consultative sales process and use their nonprofit experience to build relationships with potential clients based on trust and thought leadership. They will have the persuasive ability to move potential clients from lead to close quickly

  • Willingness to travel to client meetings and represent the Winkler Group at conferences, workshops, and events
  • B.A. degree or higher

Compensation and Benefits


The Winkler Group offers a starting salary of $60
,000 with expectations to earn an additional $30,000–$60,000 in commission. A generous benefits package includes medical, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k), paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays
. Candidate must reside in the Charleston area and work in a hybrid remote office. Familiarity with HubSpot CRM or other CRM software is preferred. At least ten years of experience working in related positions.
