Kathy Douglas Promoted to Senior Managing Consultant

Charleston, South Carolina—The Winkler Group, a national capital campaign consulting firm headquartered in Charleston, names Kathy Douglas to the role of Senior Managing Consultant.

In this new role, Ms. Douglas will continue to serve her own clients while also working to oversee a team of consultants, implementing best practices across a range of client projects.

Ms. Douglas brings 30 years of fundraising, nonprofit board development, and strategic planning to the Winkler Group. She is recognized for her expertise in strategic implementation and capital campaign development.

Prior to joining the Winkler Group, Ms. Douglas served as the executive director, national director of engagement, and chief development officer for well-respected local, regional, and national nonprofit organizations. As the state executive director for a national nonprofit, Kathy led a statewide board of trustees. She increased statewide revenue by nine percent in one year by developing a cultivation and solicitation plan for major donors.

“Since Kathy joined the Winkler Group team nearly two years ago, she has led her clients with compassion and tenacity,” states Jim Bush, Winkler Group principal and president. “In her new role, she will guide her consulting team with these same values. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Ms. Douglas is based in the Winkler Group’s Charleston office.
