On the Road: Connect and Learn with Capital Campaign Experts

August 17, 2022, CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Winkler Group is back on the road in September and October with four events throughout South Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee. In the coming months, the Winkler Group will partner with AFP chapters and community foundations to offer workshops and seminars designed to provide effective and easy-to-implement fundraising strategies.

Preparing and Planning for a Capital Campaign

This immersive half-day workshop offered by the AFP Central Carolina chapter and the Winkler Group is a favorite among fundraisers. The workshop will guide you through the planning and beginning phases of a capital campaign. 

September 21, 2022 – Jacksonville, FL 

Planning for the Big Vision: A Strategic Plan with Impact 

This session offered by the AFP Florida First chapter will be presented by Winkler Group Principal and President, Jim Bush. Jim will walk participants through the importance of a strong strategic plan and demonstrate how to build a plan that will find the funding to implement. 

October 12, 2022 – Gainesville, FL

Preparing and Planning for a Capital Campaign

The Winkler Group offers fundraisers another chance to catch our immersive half-day workshop in Florida. This workshop, offered by the Community Foundation of North Central Florida, is open to members of the CFMCF and fundraisers in the area. The workshop will guide you through the planning and beginning phases of a capital campaign.

October 23-25, 2022 – Nashville, TN

Unexpected Ways a Capital Campaign can Transform an Independent School 

Presenting at the SAIS Annual conference in Nashville, Tennessee, Jim Bush will partner with Nate Morrow, Christ Presbyterian Academy Head of School, to present, “Unexpected Ways a Capital Campaign can Transform an Independent School.” The session will explore how CPA’s 2018 $18 million campaign reimagined the school’s campus and funded a new performing arts center, built a new college-style central quad, and created a welcoming new entrance for current and prospective students.
