Winkler Group Grows Leadership Team, Announces Promotions

Charleston—The Winkler Group, a national capital campaign consulting firm with offices in South Carolina, New York, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, has announced promotions.

“We are proud to highlight three members of our talented team for the good work they do on behalf of the universities, schools, and nonprofit organizations we serve,” states Jim Bush, Winkler Group principal and president.

Nikki Rach, CFRE

Senior Vice President

Nikki Rach was named Senior Vice President. Formerly Vice President for Client Services, Ms. Rach will oversee all aspects of the Winkler Group’s operation, including a growing roster of projects and expansion of campaign planning offerings. She will carefully integrate all aspects of finance and business operations, service delivery, and business development and ensure the firm’s core values (do the right things the right way; roll up our sleeves; work as a team; deeply knowledgeable; eager to learn; own it) remain central to all firm functions. Ms. Rach is a graduate of Concordia University and heads the Winkler Group’s Central Florida office where she is an active community volunteer.

Raymond Carnley, Ed.D.

Vice President of Client Services

Raymond Carnley, Ed.D., was promoted to Vice President of Client Services. Dr. Carnley, a veteran fundraiser with more than 25 years of experience at the highest levels of university advancement and nonprofit development, will provide strategic direction and oversight to all client engagements.  Continuing to mentor the Winkler Group’s 11-member team, he will to ensure exceptional service to the universities, independent schools, and nonprofit organizations the firm serves. Dr. Carnley holds an Ed.D. from the University of Georgia, an M.A. from Columbia College, and a B.A. from Georgia Southwestern State University.  

Kathy Douglas

Senior Consultant

Kathy Douglas was promoted to Senior Consultant. Recognized for exceptional service to the Winkler Group clients she serves, Ms. Douglas has more than 28 years of fundraising and nonprofit board development. She is recognized for her expertise in strategic campaign implementation and is a past nonprofit executive director and chief development officer. Ms. Douglas is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
