Charleston—The Winkler Group continues to grow with the addition of Jessica Garrett, a leader in the Lowcountry philanthropy community.  Garrett has nearly 20 years of experience working with area organizations to generate revenue and develop the resources that help nonprofits achieve their missions.   

An expert in donor communications, Jessica has worked with nonprofits, schools, and universities across all sectors, yet her focus has been on education, conservation, and historic preservation. Jessica has secured more than $1 million in grant funding from federal, corporate, and private foundations.  Her skills also include strategic planning, annual fund giving, and securing public and private grant and foundation support.  

Jessica holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and is an active community volunteer at her children’s schools and First (Scots) Presbyterian. 


The Winkler Group provides capital campaign management and strategic planning services. 
Celebrating its 17th year, the Winkler Group has offices in Florida, Georgia, New York, and North Carolina in addition to its South Carolina headquarters.  The firm has recently been hired as counsel to Charleston Southern University in Charleston, East Cooper Community Outreach in Mt. Pleasant, St. Bernard Academy in Nashville, Elder Care Services in Tallahassee, and The Brook Hill School in Texas.
