Winkler Group Named Title Sponsor at Planet Philanthropy

The Winkler Group is pleased to announce its title sponsorship of the AFP Florida Caucus’ Planet Philanthropy conference, which will be held at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront on June 5–7, 2022. Planet Philanthropy draws hundreds of nonprofit leaders from across the state to learn best practices from each other and industry leaders. This year marks the ninth time the Winkler Group has sponsored Planet Philanthropy.

The Winkler Group has consistently recognized the value of the Planet Philanthropy conference as an avenue for nonprofit organizations to network and advance their missions. Throughout its nine-year involvement, the firm has steadily grown its dedication and participation. “Planet Philanthropy has long been one of our favorite conferences because of the quality of the sessions and the camaraderie of the people attending,” says Tim Winkler, founder and CEO of the Winkler Group. “We are thrilled to serve as title sponsors for both 2022 and 2023.”

At the June conference, Winkler Group President and Principal Jim Bush will present, “Why a Shorter Strategic Plan Is Better.” This session will demonstrate how a three-year strategic plan will lead to greater financial investment. He will also present, “The Power of a Capital Campaign to Transform an Organization.” Both sessions are scheduled to take place on June 6. Jim is a conference favorite and has been named best speaker at six national and international conferences.

The Winkler Group will also be sponsoring the conference’s Monday Night Social at The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art.

Pre-conference Capital Campaign Course

The firm is proud to partner with the AFP Florida Caucus to host an intensive pre-conference workshop, “Capital Campaigns: Two-Day Intensive Workshop”. Scheduled for June 4 – 5, this course is designed to guide nonprofits through the phases of a capital campaign—starting with what one can do today to ensure the success of a future campaign. Participants will leave with an in-depth understanding of how to hit—and exceed—a campaign goal.
