Winkler Group Names New Director of Marketing and Senior Consultant

Charleston, South Carolina—The Winkler Group, a national full-service fundraising consulting firm, is proud to announce two key promotions.

Rachel Santos has been named Director of Marketing. Rachel joined the Winkler Group five years ago and has played a key role in the firm’s double-digit growth, carefully steering digital marketing strategies and a thought-leadership approach to client outreach.

Her implementation of the firm’s first search engine marketing campaign broadened the firm’s national presence. Her oversight of the firm’s website has tripled visitation and connected thousands of nonprofit organizations to Winkler Group services. Earlier this year, the Winkler Group won the Charleston American Marketing Association Spark Award for best website.

“When Rachel began working with the Winkler Group, our primary market was the East Coast. Today, clients from across the U.S. connect with us,” explains Jessica Browning, executive vice president and principal. “Her digital marketing expertise is second to none, but what our clients value most about their interactions with Rachel is her warmth and general interest in seeing their success.”

Rachel is a graduate of the College of Charleston. She has served on the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ SC Lowcountry Chapter Board of Directors and as copy editor for The Tolkien Society’s Amon Hen publication.

Jennifer Morgan Promoted to Senior Consultant

Recognized for exceptional service to the Winkler Group clients she serves, Jen Morgan has nearly 30 years of front-line fundraising experience and has been actively involved in six capital campaigns.  She is recognized for her expertise in strategic donor relationships, cultivation, and communications.

“Jen embodies our core values; she leads with heart and has a passion for helping our clients succeed,” says Raymond Carnley, VP of Client Services. “She has earned this promotion through the careful attention and expert counsel she gives to those she serves.”

Currently, Jen leads capital campaigns for Trinity Episcopal School in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Providence Academy in Leesburg, Virginia.

Jen has a B.A. from Salem College and an M.P.A. from West Virginia University.
