Siloam Health

Siloam Health has long been a beacon of compassionate care for Nashville’s immigrant and underserved populations. Known for its culturally sensitive healthcare—where patients are served in their native languages—Siloam has earned deep trust across the city’s diverse communities.

As Nashville’s immigrant population grew, the need for Siloam’s services expanded rapidly. The organization’s flagship clinic could no longer meet the demand. Siloam needed to bring healthcare closer to the communities it served, but doing so would require new facilities and significant investment.

That’s when Siloam partnered with the Winkler Group to lead the Health Happens Here campaign, an initiative that would ultimately redefine what neighborhood-based healthcare could look like in Nashville.

The Campaign: Expanding Access Through Community Centered Care

From the start, we worked closely with Siloam to ensure that the campaign would be rooted in their core values of dignity, accessibility, and compassion. Together, we crafted a campaign narrative that focused not only on the construction of a new satellite clinic—but also on the lives that would be changed by expanded access to care.

The campaign strategy included: emphasizing health equity and direct community benefit, highlighting the unique trust Siloam had built with immigrant communities, and showcasing how culturally competent healthcare improves outcomes for entire neighborhoods.

Through strategic cultivation, we engaged both long-time supporters and new major donors, building momentum around a shared vision for a healthier, more inclusive Nashville.

The Result

The Health Happens Here campaign successfully funded the construction of a new satellite clinic, which opened just months before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The clinic became a lifeline during the crisis—providing culturally sensitive care, critical information, and thousands of vaccinations to communities that otherwise would have been left behind.

Beyond the immediate impact, the campaign also helped Siloam strengthen its long-term fundraising capacity. The organization emerged with a deeper, more engaged donor base and a robust culture of philanthropy that will sustain future expansions.

Today, Siloam continues to build on that momentum, with plans to open additional satellite clinics to meet the growing healthcare needs of Nashville’s most vulnerable populations.
